Laura is a multiple award-winning international speaker who focuses on Global Diversity and Inclusion.

She helps organisations and individuals meet their corporate and social responsibilities by optimising inclusive practices to improve their business impact, client experiences and get the best from their employees. Her personal and professional experiences as a leader in healthcare have shaped her approach and drives her public speaking and consultancy work where she optimises leadership and resilience in people and organisations.

In June 2018 she received an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to Nursing and Health Policy. The Health Service Journal voted her in the top 50 for three separate national awards: Inspirational Women in Healthcare, BME Pioneers and Clinical Leaders. She was listed as number 8 in the Powerlist UK (top 100 most influential Black people in UK).

A BBC expert woman, published author and panellist, she has extensive experience as an expert commentator in broadcast media on health and EDI issues.

Her work utilises her own research based model which provides a platform to enable success. Her commitment to equality of opportunity and self agency is reflected in her determination to support others by actioning my call to “lift as you climb”.
