Charlene Sargoe is a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leader, Director and Trustee, with extensive experience for global financial institutions and media businesses.

Currently, as International Head of DE&I for Europe’s second largest asset manager, Natixis Investment Managers, Charlene is working across functions and geographies to champion diverse representation and experience throughout the organisation.

In addition, Charlene is a member of the Board of Trustees at The 5% Club. She supports its vision for employers to embed “earn & learn” as part of building and developing its workforce, and sit on DE&I advisory committees for the Investment Association, and Investment Leadership Network. She is also a speaker and judge: recent highlights include panels for Investor Leadership Network, Private Equity Summit Europe and TLC Lions inaugural Being Human Awards.

Charlene’s formative career was spent in multi-channel marketing communications roles within both established and start-up environments, including National Geographic, Granada Sky Broadcasting, CNN and the Sci-Fi Channel, where she created marketing strategy and programmes on an international scale. She subsequently transitioned to financial services with roles for Legal & General and the Communication Workers Friendly Society, before joining Natixis in 2008.
